Patented brass roller
The roller lets the webbing move smoothly through the buckle. Faster to tension, smoother to release, one-handed.
700kg+ breaking load
Zamak 5 alloy buckle and marine-grade stainless internals. Built for real loads, not a toy strap.
UV-stabilised webbing
Polypropylene webbing that holds up to the Australian sun. Less friction means it lasts longer too.
Rollercam, explained.
A cam buckle tie-down strap that uses a brass roller to help the webbing move more smoothly through the buckle. Easier tightening, better control, and the webbing lasts longer because there is less friction.
For most everyday securing jobs, yes. Ratchet straps can over-tension and damage gear. Rollercam gives you better control, is faster to use one-handed on a roof rack, and does not require the same awkward cranking motion.
25mm standard duty covers most everyday jobs — roof racks, kayaks, swags, trailers. 32mm heavy duty for bigger loads. 19mm medium duty for compact or touring gear.
Straight end is the most versatile — wraps around anchor points. Loop end stays attached to a fixed anchor point and is great for tidier repeat setups. Hook end clips on fast for quick loading jobs.
Anchor points, cordage and the clever small things.
Why Rollercam straps are different
A standard cam buckle grips the webbing with a toothed cam, so tightening means fighting friction and the teeth wear the strap over time. The Rollercam buckle feeds the webbing over a roller. It pulls tight smoothly by hand, holds firm, and lets the load off under control when you open it. It has no ratchet to rust or jam, and you can't over-tighten and crush what you're carrying.
You may have seen them called roller cam or cam roller straps. It is the same idea: the webbing runs over a roller instead of a row of teeth.

Look after them
Fit a CamGuard where the buckle sits against a board, kayak or paintwork. MOLLE strap clips keep the spare tail from flapping. For help choosing a width, end and length, read the tie-down strap buying guide.
