Choose paracord for guy ropes, tarps, clotheslines, lanyards and the emergency kit. The bright colours are easy to see around camp.
Choose Dyneema when strength matters: tie-down lines, anchor loops, and boat or kayak rigging. It is many times stronger than paracord at the same thickness and stretches very little.
Bracelets for anchor points
Thread a Dyneema bracelet through an anchor point to give a Roperoller or a Hook End strap something to clip onto. The bungee version keeps tension on tarps and Biminis. Its 6mm marine-grade shock cord is Australian made, with a UV-stabilised outer sheath, and lasts at least five years.
Keep cord tidy
A Roperoller winds cord on and off without tangles, and the reflective accessory cord shows up in torchlight, so nobody trips over a guy rope at night.
Questions
How do I order a length of paracord or Dyneema?
Both are priced per metre. Enter the number of metres you need as the quantity. For bulk orders, contact us at info@westonworks.au.
Which is stronger, paracord or Dyneema?
Dyneema, by a long way. Our 4mm Dyneema has a 1200kg breaking load. 550 paracord takes its name from its 550 lb rating, which is about 250kg.
Does Dyneema float?
Yes, it floats on water, which makes it handy on boats and kayaks. Dry it before you store it.
What colours does the paracord come in?
Tan, Camo, Sunburst, Dayglow and Orange.
What are the bracelets for?
Thread one through an anchor point that a hook will not fit around. It gives a Roperoller or Hook End strap a loop to clip onto. They are sold in pairs.
